Avery Dennison released a bevy of new products in 2016, with 15 new films in total. These additions to our already outstanding film portfolio gave installers and print shops even more ways to work with our films. New colors, textures and digital print capabilities inspired some amazing projects, and we are excited to see what you do with them in 2017.
Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions has released the 2017 schedule of Wrap Classes. The classes are divided into two types, Digital Films Classes and Supreme Wrapping Film Classes, and they will be hosted in cities across North America by renowned installers Justin Pate of the Wrap Institute and John Duever of Vinyl Images.
Avery Dennison showed off several vehicle wraps in the company booth over the course of four days at SEMA 2016. Renowned installers used different combinations of films to makeover a Camaro race car for Gas Monkey Racing, but there were also some very impressive wraps outside the booth. Some of the best wraps of the show could be found on trucks.
On November 2, 2016, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions announced that Toxic Rat by Nick Caminiti, car wrap installer at Exotic Graphix, was named the King of the Wrap World in the “Wrap Like a King” Challenge at the 2016 SEMA Show. Nick competed against 223 other installers from 21 countries.
Justin Pate is a graphic installer/instructor with more than 18 years of experience, working both in the United States and Europe. Justin teaches workshops across the world most notably for Avery Dennison and Mutoh in North America. Justin also heads up The Wrap Institute (www.wrapinstitute.com), a streaming video wraps education platform.
Justin Pate of The Wrap Institute is renowned for his color change and digital print vehicle wraps, such as the ones he performed at our SEMA 2016 booth, but he is also well versed in environmental graphics, such as wall wraps with our printable MPI 2600 Textured Wall Film.
