TOP 15 WRAPS OF 2015

Mentor, Ohio, January 12, 2016 – Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions today revealed a list of ten unique wrap projects created with its digitally printable and screen and cut vinyl films. In addition, five exceptional car wraps developed with Avery Dennison vehicle wrap films were recognized. All of the projects demonstrate that vinyl wraps continue to play a major role in how consumers and businesses can customize everything from women’s high heel shoes to a video game console, a kitchen mixer, farm tractors and industrial equipment.

The ten unique wrap projects of 2015, shared with Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions - North America include:

CJ Morales at Fine Lines Wraps & Tints created the ultimate customized kitchen accessory for a family member, an Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film Brilliant Blue Matte Metallic wrapped mixer.

Dont Drive Naked wrapped a new piece of equipment for Maxwell Farms. The throwback graphics were printed on Avery Dennison® MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS.

MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ was used to transform golf clubs.Twisted Image Inc. customized the golf clubs and allowed golfers to show off more than just their swing.

One-of-a-kind, carbon fiber wrapped heels were created with Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film Black and custom Red Carbon Fiber films by PG NOLA, an Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installer and King of the Wrap World 2015.

The conformability of MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ and DOL 1460 Gloss overlaminate  were put to the test with this mannequin project. Wrap Maniacs printed the graphics and wrapped the curvy mannequin for a festival in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Katalyst Sign & Grafix helped an automotive car dealership in Abilene, KS celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness month in October with 9’ tall pink ribbons printed on MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ with DOL 1360 gloss overlaminate.

 

Daniel Winterberg wrapped a video simulator with red Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film™. The wrap was commissioned by a German automobile manufacturer for a VIP tent at a 2015 Alpine Skiing World Cup race in Switzerland.

 

John Lawson, an Avery Dennison Certified Wrap Installer at USA Image, wrapped a tractor and truck with graphics printed on MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ with DOL 1360 gloss overlaminate so Vineyard Vines would have a presence on the field at the 2015 Kentucky Derby.

Dolce Design | New York created a novelty hot pink dance floor for a customer’s wedding reception with Avery Dennison® 700 High Performance Film.

 

Pizzas printed on MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ and paired with DOL 1360 gloss overlaminate by Red Line Design, LLC make this delivery bike unforgettable.



Five car wraps completed in 2015 were recognized for their individuality:

Kevin Kempf’s winning 2015 Wrap Like a King Challenge entry was a high-end, exotic car wrapped in Avery Dennison® Conform Chrome Silver and Black with DOL 1370 overlaminate and Avery Dennison High Visibility 1200 black reflective film.

Ruthless Wraps installed Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film Emerald Pearl Metallic on a vintage car, which also features a custom roof wrap with an embossed pattern.

With the help of Lettering Express in Oklahoma City, OK, the Find a Cure Project, founded by Trevor Nishihira, wrapped a vehicle using Avery Dennison Conform Chrome Black with a satin overlaminate. The car wrap includes several printed images of the iconic breast cancer pink ribbon with powerful words like fight, brave, tears and journey.

Kuttek Graphics wrapped a British-made sedan using multiple Avery Dennison films and installation techniques. The gold Rush Rally entry was wrapped in Avery Dennison Conform Chrome Gold, Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film™ Black Brushed Metallic, and MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ paired with DOL 1360 Gloss overlaminate.

Gecko Wraps used the new Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film™ Diamond line to complete this wrap on a car with smooth lines and complex curves. Diamond Red was used to make the wrap shimmer and shine.
