Rebuilding Together Philadelphia’s affectionately named van, Rebuild One, was in need of some tender loving care. With all of their effort going into local projects, the nonprofit’s main vehicle hadn’t seen a visual overhaul in a while. As a result, Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions and New Jersey vehicle wrap shop WrapThatCar teamed up to donate a custom wrap job to completely transform Rebuild One to its former glory.
Rebuilding Together Philadelphia is an independent affiliate of Rebuilding Together, Inc., a national nonprofit organization that strives to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners across the country. Since being founded in 1988, RTP has helped thousands of families in the Greater Philadelphia area, providing critical home repairs, modifications and improvements.
The joint effort resulted in a full wrap installation for Rebuilding Together Philadelphia’s donated van. The newly-wrapped van will allow volunteers to easily transport materials and tools to their renovation sites. Avery Dennison supported the project by supplying the vinyl wrap materials while WrapThatCar donated the project’s design, print and installation.
Technical Sales Representative Joshua Yelverton led the project on behalf of Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions. “There are many aspects of Avery Dennison that I love, but the core value of giving back and culture of sincere caring are what really drive me,” said Yelverton. “When I was approached to lead this particular project, it cemented why I love coming to work every day and what’s important in life. I’m blessed to be a part of the Avery Dennison family!”
“Our shop likes to give back to the community in any way we can,” said Brian Dempsey, owner of WrapThatCar. “By sponsoring our hometown’s Little League or supporting local police and military recruitment centers, it helps us stay in touch with what’s important – each other. So when the opportunity came up to help Rebuilding Together Philadelphia repair communities in need, we didn’t need to give it a second thought.”
The Rebuild One van was wrapped using Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Easy Apply RS™ digital film and DOL 1360 optically clear gloss overlaminate to ensure a quality final product that will last for years to come.
