Santiago High School no longer looks like an ordinary high school. As soon as visitors walk through the doors, they are transported into an aquarium filled with sand, seaweed, fish and sharks.
Students and the administration at Santiago High School in Corona, California worked with PMG Companies to create a new, inspiring look for the school’s main lobby using Avery Dennison digital media.
The front lobby and interior entrance of the school, which includes a curved ceiling, were wrapped with graphic material printed to depict a very real representation of the ocean floor including fish and sharks, the school’s mascot.
Ryan Busnardo, CEO of PMG Companies and Scot Demmer, managing partner at PMG, consulted with the Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions technical team to identify a digital film that would produce high impact, colorful images and could also be applied to the various substrates within the school..
The solution, Avery Dennison’s MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ and DOL 1380 matte overlaminate were applied to drywall, ceilings and cinder blocks.
