Avery Dennison previewed 22 new Supreme Wrapping Film colors at the 2013 SEMA Show. Avery Dennison and West Coast Customs’ booths featured wrap demonstrations using Supreme Wrapping Film, Conform Chrome, and digitally printed MPI 1005 Supercast films.
Avery Dennison previewed 22 new Supreme Wrapping Film colors at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas on November 5-8. The 22 new colors include gloss, pearlescent, brushed metallic and matte metallic finishes. The new colors will be added to the collection of 51 colors and available in early 2014. A Twin Turbo Ford Mustang GT was featured in the Avery Dennison both at SEMA. A partial car wrap, designed by third year Cleveland Institute of Art student Nolan Beck, was digitally printed on MPI 1005 Supercast Easy Apply RS™ and installed by Justin Pate on the car the first day of the show. The full portfolio of Supreme Wrapping Films including the four Conform Chrome Accent films and updated portfolio of 69 colors and finishes were used in wrap demonstrations throughout the show.
West Coast Customs also held wrap demonstrations with Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Supercast and Supreme Wrapping Films in its booth at SEMA. In addition, Justin Bieber's Audi R8 was in the booth, wrapped in a cheetah pattern that was digitally printed on Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Supercast film. A Lamborghini with a rose quartz wrap created with Supreme Wrapping Film Conform Chrome Accent film was also showcased in the booth.
In addition, more than 25 other cars were wrapped with Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Films and digitally imaged graphic wraps are being printed on the Avery Dennison® MPI 1005 Supercast Series, an ultra-conformable series of digital films with a variety of high performance adhesive options.
SEMA commissioned vehicle graphics and wraps from Max Grundy that were installed on six vehicles by Wrap1 of Huntington Beach, California with Avery Dennison MPI 1005 Supercast and Supreme Wrapping Films, including several new colors. GatorWraps created a green chrome wrap with Avery Dennison Conform Chrome and a Mutoh printer on a 1968 Ford Mustang, it was shown in the Rennen booth.
Arthur Hakobyan, from Diamond Black Exteriors, won the grand prize in the “Wrap Like a King” Challenge featuring Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Films. Hakobyan was presented with a trophy in the Avery Dennison booth on Wednesday, and he was recognized in the West Coast Customs booth on Thursday, November 7. His entry in the Challenge, “Brand New Mercedes Benz SLS63 AMG Wrapped by DBX in Ultra Matte Red Avery Dennison® Supreme Wrapping Film,” was featured in a video in the Avery Dennison booth.
