Avery Dennison Graphics Solutions North America launched MPI 1105 in July. We knew the ultra-conformable film with reliable print quality had plenty of potential right out of the gate, but now that installers have had some time to work with the film, we are starting to see some amazing projects.

ECD Customs of Ontario, Canada took the popular galaxy-themed wrap to the next level on a lifted truck. MPI 1105 allowed the shop to show off bright blue, deep purple and pitch black all in one wrap. Each star in the galaxy design popped with the film’s print clarity.

While ECD Customs looked to the sky, Justin Pate from the Wrap Institute drew inspiration from the wilderness. Pate used MPI 1105 to craft a fully woodgrain exterior that would be right at home next to a cabin. Once again, the new film showed off its conformability and superior print quality.

Personal vehicles look great in MPI 1105, but a big rig tow truck showed that the film is effective on commercial vehicles as well. Diamond Graphix of Round Rock, TX created a bright, multi-colored wrap that showed off a towing company’s logo in a powerful new way. The wrap will certainly turn heads and make more of an impression when the tow truck rolls through town.

Though MPI 1105 works extremely well on vehicles, it is not limited to mobile applications. Austin Extreme Graphics showed this by redecorating several traffic boxes around the city of Austin, TX with custom designs printed on the film. The shop transformed each box into a canvas for colorful surrealist art. A popular saying around the Texas city is “Keep Austin Weird,” and Austin Extreme Graphics did just that with Avery Dennison film.
